Another superstar of Bollywood bids farewell to the world. On December 4th, veteran actor, Shashi Kapoor passed away in Mumbai. He was 79. “Shashi Kapoor expires at 5.20 pm at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai,” said Dr. Narain, Executive Director of Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
The legend was admitted to the hospital in Andheri on Sunday night, reportedly for a chest infection. The actor struggled with the same problem in 2014, post his bypass surgery. At that time, he was saved by daughter Sanjana Kapoor and his sons Kunal and Karan.

Then he also got honored by many other awards for his contribution to Indian cinema. In 2015, he was also bestowed with Dadasaheb Phalke Award, making him the third member of the Kapoor family to get this honor, after his dad Prithviraj Kapoor and brother Raj Kapoor.
